Cookie policy

Last updated: 16 October 2026

RSViP Online uses as few cookies as possible. This page lists exactly what is set and why. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

This website (rsviponline.com)

The marketing website sets no cookies and loads no analytics or advertising scripts, so it shows no cookie banner.

If you pick a language in the language menu, the website remembers that choice in your browser’s local storage (key rsvip.locale), so your next visit opens in the same language. It holds only the language code, is never sent to us, and is written only when you choose a language yourself. Choose “Automatic” in the language menu, or clear this site’s data in your browser, to remove it.

The application and booking pages (app.rsviponline.com)

The application sets one first-party cookie, which is strictly necessary for it to work:

  • Name: _saasolution_scheduling_key (the cookie keeps its original technical name).
  • Purpose: keeps you signed in, protects forms against cross-site request forgery, and remembers your chosen language and theme during your visit.
  • Type: first party, essential. It is signed so it cannot be altered, flagged HttpOnly (scripts cannot read it), Secure (sent over HTTPS only) and SameSite=Lax.
  • Lifetime: a session cookie. It is removed when you close your browser, and it is also removed when you sign out.

Because this cookie is essential, it does not need your consent. Guests who book on a host’s page also receive it, only to complete the booking in their language.

Statistics without cookies

Booking pages may count visits for the host without using cookies: a short-lived hashed identifier built from network and browser details, which changes every day and cannot be used to recognise you over time.

Cookies from other companies

When you pay for a subscription, you are sent to Stripe’s secure checkout, which sets its own cookies for payment security and fraud prevention. When you connect Google, Microsoft or Zoom, their sign-in pages set their own cookies. Those are governed by their policies, not ours.

Your choices

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings, but without the essential cookie you will not be able to stay signed in.
